“Bob has a PhD in Real Estate Solutions…”

…enthuses Bob Moran’s client, who has lived in 10 major cities in the United States and Europe during a 30+ year career as a Senior VP of Marketing with a Fortune 500 technology firm.  He was amazed when Bob found the perfect property for him, within his budget, location and lifestyle parameters, after showing him only 2 houses!

Listen, Listen, Listen.

Bob’s unique approach to helping his clients achieve their goals is, first, to listen, then ask questions and listen some more.  “It is only by listening to my clients’ full expression of their needs and desires that I can develop a clear picture in my mind of a plan that will enable them to reach their goals,” says Bob.  He then applies his 30+ years as a Dallas native and real estate professional to make the perfect connection between buyer and seller.

Creative Solutions.

“Bob Moran understands the meaning of hard work and thrives on coming up with extremely smart housing solutions,” says Sheila Rice, executive vice president of Virginia Cook, Realtors. After graduating from Monmouth University in New Jersey, Bob began his sales and marketing career as a manufacturer’s representative in home textiles for New York-based firms operating throughout the country. In 1987, he met a developer in Dallas who owned 5,000 apartments and had a 30-percent vacancy rate.

“This gentleman was looking for miracles to pump up his gross revenues and became convinced that if I knew how to move inventory for retailers, I could do the same for his vacancies,” explains Bob. “It worked, and that was the beginning of a fabulous career in Dallas real estate.”

Going the Extra Mile:

To paraphrase a saying that exemplifies Bob’s approach; “Go the extra mile…it’s less crowded! So go there and you are bound to stand out.”  For his selling clients, Bob employs a professional stylist to create the perfect environment in the home to “wow” the prospective buyer, and a professional photographer with expertise in photographing exceptional homes to project an image and lifestyle that will make the perfect buyer eager to see the home and imagine living there.  For his buying clients, Bob’s extensive, in-depth knowledge of the Dallas/Fort Worth market, exceptional networking alliances, and sophisticated use of the latest technology, enable him to find that “special property,” even if the property might not be currently listed on the market.

Bob passion for his profession often results in “miracles” for his clients, including a couple who got so much for their home that they said it was the first time in the sale of 12 homes in 30 years that they were delighted to pay the broker’s fees. “Their home on Park Lane was sold during 100 degree weather,” says Bob.  “My friendship with the sellers continues, no matter where they move!”

A Focus on Service:

While maintaining a ranking among the top producers in the market, Bob has committed time to volunteer service. He has been a grief facilitator for several years at St. Rita and Preston Hollow Presbyterian Churches, and he is the first to give support or lend a hand to the elderly, handicapped, or neighbors and friends in his community.

After having lived and worked in New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Seattle and New Jersey, Bob and his wife, Suzanne, a noted ASID certified kitchen and bath designer, now live in Preston Hollow.  He and Suzanne occasionally break away for vacations in Chicago, New York and Las Angeles, their favorite US cities for museum hopping and dining, and sudden long weekend jaunts to the Texas Gulf.  They are members of the Dallas Museum of Art and The Kimbell Art Museum.
